Janel Clark, Snapshot GmbH
A certified hotel Revenue Management professional and trainer with a passion for hotels and a wide knowledge of revenue management, distribution & digital marketing. Janel has used her extensive practical knowledge to run consultancy services for hotels across the full spectrum, from 5-star chain properties to independent boutique hotels, helping them embed, achieve and exceed best practice. Janel has also been involved in the organisation and management of ‘blue chip’ revenue management training academies throughout EMEA. An Educator with over 20 years experience in Hotel Revenue Management and Distribution, Janel heads up the Education pillar of Snapshot GmbH. Janel’s goal is to develop and deliver Educational services in association with academic and industry partners to introduce improved ways for hotels to make commercial decisions.
Jane Pendlebury, CEO of HOSPA
Jane Pendlebury is CEO of HOSPA the Hospitality Professionals Association.
Kickstarting her career with a degree in Hotel Management, Jane worked with both chain and independent hotels. Thereafter, Jane spent many years
assisting hotels with their technology decisions on Property Management,
Point of Sale and Revenue Management ending up as VP and General
Manager of Agilysys in Europe. Her relationship with HOSPA was first as a
sponsor and member, then after volunteering her time assisting with the
annual conference HOSPACE she was taken on to run the Membership and
Events office before being promoted to CEO in early 2016.
And last but not least, Ciaran Brazil. Ciaran works right at the coal-face of Revenue, so he understands exactly the problems, challenges and successes that Revenue Managers face every day.
With over 20 years in the industry, Ciaran is a hospitality veteran. An Irish native and having recently returned to his homeland, Ciaran has held senior positions in Revenue, Sales & Ecommerce. Ciaran has held senior revenue positions in the world-renowned Ritz Hotel, London, as well as a Director of Revenue position in the 5 star Taj Hotel, London. His experience also transcends the international market with time spent in the Amari Hotel Group, based in Bangkok and Ciaran also brings a wealth of experience in the apartment sector, as Group Revenue Manager for Native Service Apartments. He is currently based at with The Killeshin Hotel in the Irish midlands part of the newly formed So Hotels Ireland group as their Sales & Marketing Manager.
